There has already been much coverage of the New York Knicks in the news over the past couple of days after their president of basketball operations Phil Jackson said Carmelo Anthony would be 'better off somewhere else'.

Jackson is looking to trade away the 10-time NBA All-Star despite the fact he has a full no-trade clause because he thinks the team simply hasn’t been able to win with him leading their offensive attack.

However, Anthony might not be the only player which the Knicks president of basketball operations has problems with this offseason, according to some reports.

ESPN has reported: "Kristaps Porzingis skipped exit meetings with New York Knicks management due to frustration over what he perceives as the dysfunction and drama surrounding the organization."

They have also said the 21-year-old is disappointed with the Knicks' lack of direction, as the team has never managed to achieve a playoff spot since he has been there, and they have missed out on the postseason for four straight seasons. Jackson has been president of the Knicks for three of those four seasons.

One of the main reasons behind Porzingis' reported frustrations could be due to confusion within the team after multiple scheme changes by the coaches throughout the season. At least that's what he said back in February, stating there was "a lot of stuff that's not clear" to players and that it was "hard to play like that."

So could this unrest lead to the power forward being traded? Jackson said on Friday when it comes to trades: "Everything has got to be possible," but it seems he has more of a desire to move Anthony on than the Latvian. This would likely mean Porzingis becomes the main man in the Knicks offense.

He averaged 18.1 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season, an improvement on last year's points per game average, so he is on his way, but he still has a long way to go.
