Norwich winger Lee Croft has left the club after agreeing to have his contract terminated a month early.

The 23-year-old former Manchester City wideman is a target for Derby and Crystal Palace having decided to quit City following their relegation to League One.

Canaries boss Bryan Gunn told the club's official website: "Lee's made it clear he feels his future lies elsewhere, so this gives him the chance to explore other opportunities. We wish him all the best for the future."

Croft made 131 appearances for City, scoring nine goals, and was named player of the year last season.
