The Wizards outscored the Hawks 35-23 in the final quarter to secure the victory. John Wall (32/5/9) and Bradley Beal (31/3/3) combined for 63 points and Marcin Gortat (14/10/3) double-doubled in the win. Paul Millsap (27/10/4) bounced back after a rough Game 1 to lead Atlanta in scoring. As a team, Washington had 22 assists and 11 turnovers, compared to Atlanta’s mark of 17 assists and 18 turnovers.

Rockets 115 (2-0), Thunder 111 (0-2)

Russell Westbrook (51/10/13) did everything he could to keep the Thunder in contention to win the game, but his teammates couldn’t give him any help. He went 17-for-43 from the floor and 15-for-18 from the charity stripe in the first 50-plus point triple-double in NBA playoff history in the loss. Meanwhile, James Harden (35/4/8) led the way for Houston while Eric Gordon (22/4/2) and Lou Williams (21/1/2) combined for 43 points off the bench for the winning side.

Warriors 110 (2-0), Trail Blazers 81 (0-2)

All night, the Blazers couldn’t get anything going offensively, scoring just 17 points in the first quarter and an embarrassing 12 in the third. Co-stars Damian Lillard (12/4/0) and C.J. McCollum (11/5/2) went 5-for-17 and 4-for-17 shooting respectively in the blowout loss. Meanwhile, Golden State’s starters were able to relax in the fourth, as Steph Curry (19/6/6), Klay Thompson (16/2/2) and Draymond Green (6/12/10) got the job done in Kevin Durant’s absence.
