After a nervy evening at Old Trafford, Manchester United managed to find their way into the final four of the Europa League and keep their dreams of Champions League qualification alive.
The Red Devils defeated Anderlecht 2-1 on the night with Henrikh Mkhitaryan opening the scoring, but a Sofiane Hanni effort pushed the tie to extra-time before the young sensation Marcus Rashford secured victory with some neat feet and a smart finish.
One setback saw Zlatan Ibrahimovic, unfortunately, leave the field on a stretcher.
After jumping for a header, the legendary Swede fell awkwardly on a straight leg and his knee seemed to buckle.
Manager Jose Mourinho said in his post-match interview that the early signs are "negative" and one could assume that Zlatan has played his last game this season.
Still, Rashford was moved to the middle after Martial replaced Ibra and was deployed out wide.
The 19-year-old duly rose to the occasion and left Mourinho delighted with his impact.
The Special One was clearly in a good mood at the end of the game and as you can see from the video below, the former Chelsea boss showed his class by applauding the Anderlecht supporters after the final whistle.
The Belgian heavyweight's faithful sang their hearts out all night and stayed inside the stadium long after the full-time whistle thoroughly enjoying themselves.
If any set of fans deserved some recognition tonight, it was them.
The semi-final draw for the Europa League is tomorrow and United can face any of Lyon, Ajax or Celta Vigo in the final four.
Mourinho's men must be considered the favourites for the tournament at this stage, but Lyon also represents a huge threat to their ambitions.
