Anthony Joshua’s mouth-watering clash with Wladimir Klitschko under the lights of Wembley Stadium is fast approaching.

The Brit will have the chance to maintain his unbeaten record in the hope of defending his IBF heavyweight title whilst also potentially adding the WBA strap to the collection next Saturday night (April 29).

Joshua will go head-to-head with the experienced Klitschko who remains one of the world’s greatest, fighting professionally 17 years longer than the Brit, winning 64 out of his total 68 encounters.

However, at 41 years of age it seems Joshua’s opposite number will be considering life after boxing come the end of next weekend’s fight but for the 27-year-old, the story has really only just begun with promoter Eddie Hearn claiming he is likely to keep his gloves on for another decade.

"Everything is just on the line on April 29," Hearn told Sky Sports.

"AJ talks about having 10 years left in boxing, so part of me doesn't want to rush, but we're rushing into the Klitschko fight. Why not keep going?

"Deontay Wilder will be ringside - that's a natural fight. Joseph Parker is another fight as well. It's all about winning, but he certainly wants to be in the biggest fights possible over the next 10 years."

When asked whether there was a rematch clause in the contract ahead of Saturday’s fight, Hearn wasn’t giving away any answers but did state that the pair could meet again if it ends up being a ‘great fight.’

Re-match?

"Nothing is guaranteed in boxing," he said. "If there is no value in the rematch, then you won't see it again. If it's a great fight, certainly we can't rule out doing it again."

So it seems we will be seeing more of Anthony Joshua beyond next weekend’s fight but his mindset will definitely be on coming out on top and maintaining that unbeaten record at the hands of Klitschko next Saturday night.
