A lot of players new to the Premier League tend to struggle to make an impact in their first season but goalkeepers tend to receive more stick than most.

Partly due to the nature of their position, any mistake they make often results in the opponents scoring and there is literally nowhere or no one to hide behind as the last line of defence.

However, those new signings often require time to bed in and adjust to their latest surroundings too.

Manchester United fans will remember just how dodgy David de Gea looked during his first campaign at Old Trafford. Look at him now.

Well on the other side of Manchester another keeper has also had trouble finding his feet in the Premier League.

Claudio Bravo arrived at the Etihad after Pep Guardiola judged him to be far better at distributing the ball than Joe Hart.

And yet the former Barcelona shot-stopper has endured a torrid campaign - being frequently criticised for his costly errors at the back.

The statistics don't lie. In 21 Premier League appearances, Bravo has kept just five clean sheets and made just 32 saves.

On the bright side for Guardiola, the Chile international has also completed an average of 31 passes per game, so every cloud...

But fans showed no mercy towards Bravo when he posted a video of his son making a decent save between in the sticks in what would appear to be his garden.

As you can see below, Mateo Bravo produced a great dive to deny his father scoring and it looks even better in slow motion.

Unfortunately, many of the comments on the post were from fans trolling Bravo, with some even suggesting Mateo was actually better than him in goal.

It's both funny and cruel at the same time.

After a recent spell on the bench, Bravo has returned to the starting line up in Man City's last two Premier League matches.

He is likely to start Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal at Wembley too and City fans will be hoping he's picked up a few tips from his young protege.
