Chelsea are through to the FA Cup final after beating Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 in a thrilling encounter at Wembley Stadium.

Willian got the ball rolling in the fifth minute with a delightful free-kick, and the Brazilian added another after Harry Kane had equalised.

Tottenham were level once again seven minutes after the restart. Dele Alli turned home Christian Eriksen’s sensational cross and suddenly, Spurs had the momentum.

But the game changed when Eden Hazard was introduced in the 61st minute.

The Belgian made it 3-2 to Chelsea when he lashed home with his left foot. The Blues might not have deserved the lead at that point, but one moment of class and they had it.

Five minutes later, Hazard turned provider. It looked as if Alli’s effort was going to be the goal of the game but then Nemanja Matic stepped up to score a thunderbolt from 30 yards out, making it 4-2 and ending Tottenham’s dreams.

You only need to see the reaction on Chelsea’s bench to realise how amazing the goal was. Kurt Zouma produced the best response, placing his hand over his mouth in sheer disbelief.

Chelsea fans loved it

Chelsea fans, giddy after reaching their first FA Cup final since 2012, absolutely loved the celebrations on Chelsea’s bench.

It’s yet another brilliant moment in what has been a fantastic season for Chelsea.

Some doubted Chelsea

Many questioned Antonio Conte’s decision to start Hazard and Diego Costa on the bench but the Italian’s plan worked to perfection.

Hazard and Costa avoided picking up a serious injury and their bodies weren’t put through a 90-minute ordeal.

And Willian, who started in place of Hazard, earned a much-needed confidence boost with two goals.
