Notts County chairman John Armstrong-Holmes has urged members of the Supporters' Trust to vote in favour of the proposed takeover of the club.

Middle East consortium Munto Finance Ltd is in talks over a multi-million pound deal to assume control of the world's oldest professional club.

"It is a choice between a bright future for this club, or no future at all, that is the size of the decision," Armstrong-Holmes said.

"If people vote against it, they don't have the best interests of the club at heart.

"I would urge all members to endorse it. It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to secure the future of this club.

"Without it, we will be struggling season after season."
