Anthony Joshua has warned Wladimir Klitschko that Saturday’s bout ‘could be easy’ for him.

The pair faced each other at the fight’s final press conference just two days before the Wembley showdown.

Joshua appeared to be brimming with confidence as he spoke to the assembled media.

“This fight could be easy - I could go in there and catch Wladimir and ‘Boom!’” he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

“He could suddenly be wobbling and then I take him out.

“Then the next fight could be the one that people think will be easy and I’ll get caught.

“You’re going to find out new things about me throughout my career.”

Joshua's reaction to Klitschko's USB stick

Joshua also laughed off the revelation that Klitschko will be carrying his fight predictions on a memory stick tucked inside his robe on Saturday night. The Watford ace put the story down to mind games on the Ukrainian's behalf.

‘AJ’ pointed out that he had “been there before” when he fought Kevin Johnson back in May 2015. Johnson had attempted similar mind games to try and get at Joshua but instead was knocked out in less than five minutes.

“It took me back to the time when I fought Johnson,” he added

“He was at the press conference, and said ‘I’m going to have a book, man, explaining how to beat Anthony Joshua.’

“It obviously wasn’t ever released because he got knocked out!

“But it took me back to the strategy of how people can try and get into your head. Luckily, I’ve been there before. I can go to the trenches.”

Wladimir Klitschko had earlier claimed that he had recorded a video of his predictions for Saturday’s bout and had uploaded them to a USB stick which he would release to the public after the fight.

He also said that he would sell the memory stick and give the proceeds to charity.

The pair will meet once more at the pre-match weigh-in on Friday at the Wembley Arena before finally stepping toe-to-toe with each other in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
