After months of hype and expectation, Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko will finally face off on Saturday evening in front of a 90,000 sell-out at Wembley Stadium.
The usual pre-fight trash talk has been replaced by mutual respect between the talented protege and the seasoned master.
However, before he enters the ring, it’s important that 27-year-old Joshua can still find the intensity which has made him so successful to date.
To help him do so, the Watford-born puncher has teamed up with Beats by Dr. Dre to create a bespoke pair of custom Pro headphones for fight night.
Joshua took a lead in the design of the headphones, which features the word ‘Wisdom’ on the top band and a silhouette of Africa on either side.
"I always seek wisdom and knowledge like the wise men from the Italian films and Wiseguy, all that stuff," said Joshua. "I've always sought it, so it had relevance and meaning to me,’ explained Joshua.
"I learnt more about my family's history and I ended up getting an Africa tattoo underneath it. It was a nice combination to have 'Wisdom' and your heritage tattooed underneath, so it went well.
"I've actually got that tattooed on me as well in the middle of my neck.
"It's shaped me in the sense that it's been a blessing because I think I can talk to anyone; different backgrounds, cultures and religion because I've been exposed to so many different cultures.
"I think that's a blessing that's shaped me really well."
But, without further ado, onto the good stuff, what’s in the playlist?
It’s an eclectic mix between old classics such as ‘Eye of the Tiger’ and ‘500 Miles’ to Dr. Dre and his former walk on song Stormzy’s ‘Shut Up’!
Here is the playlist in full:
Jay Z & Kanye West - Who Gon Stop Me
Holy Grail – Jay-Z ft. Justin Timberlake
500 Miles – The Proclaimers
Hometown Glory – Adele High Contrast Remix
Clubbed to Death – Rob Dougan (Matrix remix)
Eye of the Tiger – Survivor
Bound 4 Da Reload – Oxide & Neutrino
Promesses – Tchami ft. Kaleem Taylor
Original Nuttah – Shy FX
If I Can't – 50 Cent
Still D.R.E. – Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dog
Shut Up – Stormzy
Talking the Hardest – Giggs
Hate Me Now – Nas ft. Puff Daddy
So as you can see, Joshua has quite the variety on his pre-fight playlist, but which one will motivate him the most this weekend?
