Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko's weigh in on Friday afternoon passed by, as expected, with little drama.

The Brit jumped on the scales at 17st 12lbs 2oz - 10lbs heavier than Klitschko - but the 41-year-old former world champion still looked in great condition ahead of the clash at Wembley on Saturday night.

Arguably the most exciting part of the weigh-in didn't actually feature either of the fighters involved.

Deontay Wilder and Tony Bellew were both in attendance to cast their eye over the match up but clashed behind the scenes.

The pair have been linked with a potential heavyweight fight in the future and the embers were certainly set alight in their opening conflict.

Separated by a metal barrier, the pair were caught slagging each other off.

Immediately afterwards, Bellew conducted an interview with YouTube channel Behind The Gloves.

In it, Bellew revealed what his motives were and exactly what they were arguing about.

'The Bomber' fresh after beating David Haye last month was eager to find out why Wilder had not also fought 'the Hayemaker'.

"He's 39 and 0 as a heavyweight, I'm 1 and 0 as a heavyweight and my one victory at heavyweight is better than his 39 and 0.

"My 1 and 0 is the former undisputed cruiserweight champions of the world, the former heavyweight champion of the world, the biggest bogeyman in the division."

"I said to Deontay: 'why didn't you call David's name?' he said: 'I'm only interested in unifying'

"I said: 'You ain't interested in unifying, you seen the clowns he's fighting'

"This guy's another joker who's fighting absolute nobodies! Anthony Joshua has probably fought better guys than this guy."

Now, Bellew might be on a high after winning his maiden heavyweight fight but to say the calibre of his one opponent makes him a better heavyweight than Wilder is probably a bit extreme.

Bellew refused to confirm whether a fight with Wilder is in the offing but it has all the chemistry to become an engrossing rivalry.
