Even with four games left to play, there was a general acceptance that Chelsea have won the title after beating Everton on Sunday.
Of course, Tottenham fans might disagree but the Blues’ favourable fixture list suggests it will require an almighty meltdown for anyone to pip them to the top.
Second half goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill and Willian proved enough for Antonio Conte’s side to overcome a stubborn Everton team at Goodison Park.
You could see from the way Chelsea’s players reacted to each goal and particularly after the final whistle, that the 3-0 win was a giant step towards securing the title.
Conte has earned a popular reputation for his dramatic celebrations throughout the season and he certainly didn’t let us down today either.
Immediately after Jon Moss called time on the encounter, the Italian went onto the pitch and passionately embraced every single one of his players.
He then joined them as they went to the corner of the ground where the Chelsea supporters were positioned to applaud them.
And as you can see in the video below, Conte was so delighted with the result he even jumped on goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
How many other managers would do that?
It’s hilarious but you can see exactly why Conte is so highly thought of by the Blues fanbase.
His passion for the game is contagious and Chelsea fans loved his reaction on Twitter. Here are the best tweets:
