Despite successfully retaining his RAW Tag Team Titles last night (Sun. April 30, 2017), it was a rough night for Jeff Hardy. The former WWE Champion and his brother, Matt, took on the team of Sheamus and Cesaro in a thrilling tag team contest for the RAW division's crown, and 'Team Extreme' was able to emerge victorious. After the bout, Matt and Jeff were blindsided by Sheamus and Cesaro, but that wasn't even the worst part of Jeff's night.During the match, Jeff ate a nasty kick to the face from Sheamus which apparently caused him to lose a tooth. You can check out the video in the embedded Tweet below:

Shortly after Hardy was seen lying on the canvas one tooth short of what he started with that day. Or perhaps to put in in terms wrestling fans would understand a bit better, Jeff Hardy's tooth had been DELETED:

Following the match, Jeff was taken backstage to receive medical attention for the broken tooth. After taking out his gum from his mouth and being told to hang on to his lost tooth (as it may be able to be used again later), Hardy was told his blood vessels were exposed and would need to visit a dentist to avoid further damage:

After suffering a post-fight attack from Sheamus and Cesaro following their match it should be interesting to see how their feud further progresses on tonight's (Mon. May 1, 2017) episode of Monday Night RAW.

On a separate note, Matt Hardy was utilizing a ton of 'Broken' mannerisms and chants during last night's match as well in the midst of a lawsuit between Matt and Impact Wrestling for ownership of the gimmick.

While it's no secret that the WWE Universe would love to see the Broken Universe make its way over to them, Matt's wife, Reby Hardy, has since claimed on Twitter that the rumors that the WWE is attempting to purchase the gimmick from Impact simply aren't true.

This comes as a rather conflicting statement as Matt has been on a Twitter tirade as of late promoting the gimmick and teasing its utilization on WWE TV. At this point, it's difficult to tell whether or not we will ever see the gimmick used in the WWE.
