Bray Wyatt had a busy Monday Night RAW and this week’s festivities saw him formally introducing himself to Kurt Angle and positioning himself for a feud with Finn Balor. He wasn’t scheduled for a match, but definitely left his mark on the evening’s main event.

A three-way match for the number one contendership against Dean Ambrose’s Intercontinental Title was arranged by general manager Kurt Angle. It would feature Balor, The Miz and Seth Rollins all vying for the chance to prove their dominance on RAW.

As a main event, it was a great match that featured real struggle between the three fighters. Then later in the match, Rollins was incapacitated as Samoa Joe interfered, taking him out of the contest.

That left Balor and Miz in the ring together and suddenly one of The Eater of Worlds’ trademark creepy promos came on the screen. He snuck into the ring and hit The Demon King with Sister Abigail, which swung the match for the Ohio native.

All of these moments will have a payoff in the coming weeks as each of the contestants will continue the plot threads laid out in this match. Miz will take on Ambrose, Rollins will continue his feud with Samoa Joe and Balor will take on the supernatural.

The question that remains of how Wyatt got in the ring was answered by a fan who captured him running out from under the ring after the televised portion of RAW ended. He quickly scurried backstage while Miz and The Lunatic Fringe were having an exchange in the ring.

Wrestlers are tasked with doing strange things in the name of putting on a show for the audience all the time. From jumping off steel cages, to being buried alive for a pay per view event, the company can ask you to do a lot of things that fans would never think about.

Wyatt appearing under the ring during matches to cause disturbances and rachet up the drama during shows fits into his character and the presentation on television plays into his ability to strike at anytime and from anywhere.

There is no telling how long he was hiding under the ring before that ambush and he could have possibly been in place since the bit with Kurt Angle. Hopefully, this current feud will go better than his other recent feuds as WWE is still trying to figure out something to do with Wyatt.
