Anthony Joshua collected a cool £15,000,000 after his win over Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday.

And that is just the start for the heavyweight champion. Sports promoter Barry Hearn believes Joshua, who has sponsorship deals with Beats by Dre, Apple, Lucozade, Sky Sports and Under Armour, could become boxing’s first billionaire.

“He's already a wealthy man. He could easily be the first billionaire in boxing,” Hearn told The Sun.

“He's still young. At 27 he has at least ten years ahead of him in the ring and if he keeps winning the money will keep coming.

“His commercial potential outside the ring is huge, way beyond Beckham and the world's top footballers. He has a much bigger cross-over in terms of potential.”

The perks are coming in

Unlike many other fighters, Joshua has never come across as materialistic. But that doesn’t mean he cannot enjoy his new-found fortune.

And, although he can now afford any luxury item he desires, the free perks are already coming his way.

Before Saturday’s fight against Klitschko, SVO gifted the Brit a bespoke Range Rover worth £150,000, according to the Mirror.

0-60 in 5.1 seconds

The Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic features a 5.0-litre V8 engine and takes just 5.1 seconds to reach 60mph.

The details inside the car are amazing. Joshua’s signature is inscribed on the headrests and dashboard and his name is printed on the metal plates.

Joshua was involved in every tiny detail, from the alloys on the car to the fabric on the seats.

The pinnacle of luxury

"I spend a lot of time on the road travelling to Sheffield during my training camps so I am incredibly grateful to Land Rover and the SVO team for their assistance,” Joshua said.

"The Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic is the pinnacle of luxury and performance and it has been a pleasure to partner with the SVO team to create a version unique to my tastes.

"I had a fantastic experience in specifying this Range Rover, and the level of design detail in the finished vehicle is stunning, from the boxing glove emblems in the door handles to the custom storage unit for my training equipment."

Thankfully, Joshua has enough maturity to ensure his success doesn’t distract him from his mission to become a boxing legend.
