Evans to become a Bantam

Macclesfield striker Gareth Evans has agreed a deal to sign for Bradford.

The 21-year-old has agreed personal terms with Bantams and will sign a contract on July 1.

Evans began his career at Manchester United as part of the youth team and went on to play for Crewe and Port Vale before joining Macclesfield in 2007.

The striker scored 13 goals in 44 appearances for Macclesfield last season.
