The New York Mets are having a great start to their new season, sitting in the second seed spot in the National League East and they could well be on their way to their third postseason appearance in as many seasons after previously going eight seasons without.

Signs that another postseason run could be on the horizon were shown on Friday night as the Mets achieved a comeback victory against the Miami Marlins at Citi Field to win 8-7 after being 7-3 down entering the seventh inning.

The team posted a picture of T.J. Rivera - who hit a two-run, game-tying double to left during the game to help New York win, as well as a home-run in the first inning - in the locker room on Twitter after to celebrate the win and recognize what he did to help achieve it.

However, they immediately took the photo down after they noticed something NSFW inside of Kevin Plawecki’s locker, behind Rivera, which everybody was talking about.

Inside of Plawecki's locker was a sex toy, which you can see further down in this article. WARNING: Contains NSFW material.

Mets tried to avoid the drama by deleting the original photo and reposting it with the catcher's locker completely cropped out of the photo, but that didn't work as all the responses on the new post were just about the sex toy.

In the end, New York decided to delete that photo as well, meaning there is no picture on their social media to recognize what Rivera did during the game to help the team win their 13th game of the season.

Talk about being shafted at work. Plawecki will certainly have a couple of questions to answer the next time he speaks to the media...

As for the Mets, they'll be looking to extend their winning streak to three tonight when they face off once more against the Marlins at Citi Field.
