Kurt Angle stole the show two nights before WrestleMania 33 where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2017.

He shared some wonderful stories; providing fans with a live rendition of his ‘Sexy Kurt’ theme which he made famous during a feud with Shawn Michaels, before pouring two bottles of milk over himself and his flashy suit.

HALL OF FAME

The milk spot closed out the show and it will live long in the memory as it’s something he made famous back in 2011 when he drove a milk truck down to the ring and doused the Alliance with milk – similar to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s beer truck antics.

While we still saw the hilarious moment on the stage at the Hall of Fame ceremony, the current Monday Night RAW general manager recently revealed that he had something even bigger planned for the evening.

During an appearance on WrestleZone Radio’s WZ Weekly, the Olympic gold medallist revealed that he had the idea to drive a milk truck into the arena – but WWE officials shot that plan down.

MILK TRUCK

He said: “They didn’t let me do everything I wanted to do! (laughs) I wanted to drive the milk truck into the arena. (Laughs) The higher-ups said, ‘That’s a little too much.’

“You know what? The reason I wanted to come back to WWE, whether it was just for the Hall of Fame or they talked to me about being an ambassador or the GM role or me wrestling again. I really don’t know about that yet.

“I wanted to come back and thank the WWE Universe, the fans. I also wanted to give a message to the younger talent on how to deal with your career and mot make the mistakes I made and also to take chances.”

While it would have been an incredible moment to witness a milk truck driving into the arena, you can understand why WWE wouldn’t want to go overboard on a night that celebrates several legendary careers.

Right now, though, most of the focus is falling on whether Angle will be able to pass a physical and make an in-ring return.

Last week, he mentioned that it’s a matter of when and not if in regards to making a return to the ring, and you can be sure there will be a long list of opponents trying to secure a match with the legend.
