Young Doncaster striker Waide Fairhurst has been rewarded for his first-team breakthrough with a new two-year deal.

Fairhurst, 20, spent most of last term on loan at Blue Square North side Solihull Moors but returned to the Keepmoat Stadium at the end of last season and made substitute appearances in the final three games of the campaign.

He set up a goal for James Hayter in the second of them at home to Crystal Palace and will now hope to be even more involved in the new campaign.
