Barnsley boss Simon Davey remains hopeful of signing Liverpool winger Adam Hammill.

The 21-year-old spent the final three months of last season on loan at Oakwell and impressed with some high-energy performances on the right.

"I'm still looking at a few players, discussions are ongoing," Davey told the Star.

"I've said that Hammill would be a good addition to our squad, but we're also on the look-out for a striker."
