Charlton boss Phil Parkinson has confirmed his interest in signing Christian Dailly.

Former Scotland defender Dailly has been on trial with the Coca-Cola League One club after being released by Rangers.

The 35-year-old played in the midweek 2-1 friendly win over Ipswich and Parkinson told BBC London: "Christian is the type of character I'd love to bring to the club."

He added: "He can play in a number of positions as well."
