Ross McCormack has expressed anger over the latest reports suggesting he is keen to leave Cardiff.

Hull and Portsmouth have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old and when asked about a move to the KC Stadium, McCormack was on Tuesday quoted as saying "I would definitely be interested", adding Cardiff's £5million valuation "is pricing people out of the market".

But he has moved to clear up the matter, telling Cardiff's official website: "I don't know where those quotes have been dug up from."

McCormack added: "Everyone seems to think I don't care about Cardiff and I want to leave, but that's not the case. I'm happy here, so is my fiancee, and we're looking for a new house.

"The fans here have been brilliant and it's killing me they are reacting as if I want to leave as soon as I can.

"I'm happy and not planning to go anywhere. I'm upset at these reports but everyone knows the situation.

"I had a conversation with the chairman and said that if a Premier League club came in for me, I'd like the chance to speak to them. There was no transfer request."
