Ipswich have completed the signing of Watford striker Tamas Priskin for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old Hungary international has signed a three-year contract at Portman Road and is in contention to make his debut at Coventry on Sunday.

He signed for Watford in 2006 but failed to make much of an impression until Brendan Rodgers replaced Adrian Boothroyd at the helm last November.

Priskin was a man reborn under Rodgers, scoring 12 goals in 24 appearances including goals against Tottenham and Chelsea in cup competitions.
