Rotherham have completed the signing of Adam Le Fondre from Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old striker has signed a three-year contract and will be unveiled ahead of Tuesday night's Carling Cup game against Derby.

Rotherham chief operating officer Paul Douglas told the club's official website: "Adam has signed following the results of a thorough medical and he will be paraded before the game against Derby County."

He added: "I know he is a player Mark Robins has been looking at for some time and we are confident that Adam will be a huge hit with our supporters."
