Southampton boss Alan Pardew is eager to enter the transfer market once again after the 3-1 defeat at Huddersfield.

Pardew admitted the Saints were well beaten and has vowed to make changes to his squad.

"We definitely need to bring in a few players based on that performance." he said.

"We had a very bad day at the office in terms of the objectives we set ourselves beforehand. We lost our discipline and there was no shape. Getting back into the game at 1-1 flattered us.

"That should have given us a platform to get a result after Kelvin Davis made some outstanding saves to keep us in it."
