Simon Grayson reflected on "a perfect week" after his side secured a 1-0 win at Wycombe.

Luciano Becchio's impressive second-half strike was enough to grab the win for a strong looking United side, who made it three consecutive wins after seeing off Exeter and Darlington.

Grayson said: "It's been a perfect week and when you win the first three games of the season you obviously have to be delighted with it."

He added: "The first-half performance was okay without really putting our mark on the game either with the ball or without it.

"But second half I thought we were excellent, the strikers both looked bang in form and we really squeezed Wycombe back into their half well.

"We moved the ball around quickly, didn't let them get anything started and we could have scored more with the chances we had to be fair. On another day we could have buried them earlier but I'd certainly take 1-0 every week if you offered it to me."
