Jozy Altidore is hungry for more after making an instant impression in Hull colours at the weekend.

The 19-year-old USA striker, who has moved to Humberside on a season-long loan from Villarreal, shrugged off the effects of jetlag to come off the bench and set up the winning goal in Saturday's Barclays Premier League victory over Bolton at the KC Stadium.

Altidore said: "If I'm called upon by the gaffer I'm going to go out there and play 100%. I need games, that's what I haven't had in the past year."

He added: "This is why I came to Hull, to get games and repay the faith that has been shown on me.

"I just want to play and be here and prove I belong. I want to play as much as possible and improve."
