Preston midfielder Veliche Shumulikoski is relishing returning to his former club Ipswich on Saturday.

The Macedonian spent 18 months at Portman Road before joining North End in a £300,000 deal earlier this month.

He told the Lancashire Evening Post: "I enjoyed my time at Ipswich, they were my first club in England so I will never forget my time there."

He added: "Their fans were brilliant to me, I liked them, and I still have a lot of friends in the town - my house is there too.

"I'm looking forward to going back, but I look forward to every game I play, no matter who the opposition is."
