Emmanuel Adebayor's second-half header helped Manchester City continue their outstanding start to the season with a 4-2 victory over Arsenal.

City went ahead when Micah Richards' header found the net via the post and Manuel Almunia's head before Robin van Persie levelled after the break.

However, a flurry of City goals from Craig Bellamy, Adebayor and Shaun Wright-Phillips ensured that Tomas Rosicky's late effort was merely a consolation.

Adebayor may be in trouble for his ill-advised celebrations at the other end of the field in front of the Gunners supporters who used to love him.

But he will be more bothered about the three points after an amazing encounter which produced six goals and enough incident to keep Mark Hughes and Arsene Wenger occupied for a week.
