Ipswich manager Roy Keane was happy with his side's performance in the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.

Keane remains under pressure after a seventh game without a win but believes his side are improving all the time.

He said: "Generally speaking, I was happy with our performance. The effort was there and we played some decent stuff."

He added: "The second goal was always going to be the most important.

"We had two injuries that disrupted us but overall I enjoyed it.

"The game summed up where we are at the moment but there are signs of encouragement. Now we want some wins to back that up.

"We're nearly there but nearly never made it sometimes."
