Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock has confirmed midfielder Damien McCrory's loan spell at Port Vale has been extended into a second month.

McCrory, 19, originally joined the Valiants on a one-month deal.

"Damien was on his way back but I feel it is appropriate he spends more time up there," Sturrock said. "I think he has been in and out of the Port Vale team so I`m hopeful he will stake a claim and then we will see how he has benefited when he comes back to us."
