Midfielder Charlie Adam has saluted Blackpool manager Ian Holloway following his call-up to the Scotland squad.
The 23-year-old, who has scored four goals since joining the Seasiders from Rangers in the summer, won his last cap for his country two-and-a-half years ago.
"It's great to be back and I'd like to say thanks to the manager and the players at Blackpool for giving me the opportunity to get back in the national team," Adam told the Blackpool Gazette.
"My call-up shows how well the team has been doing. I`m looking forward to the future and delighted that my future is at Blackpool. We're sitting seventh in the league, so we've got to be happy.
"I left Rangers because there was an opportunity play week in, week out here, and I've been able to do that so far. That make's life easier and happier."
