Conor McGregor’s press conference in Los Angeles was interrupted by Floyd Mayweather’s trainer/father, who did not like what the 28-year-old Dubliner was saying about Floyd.
64-year-old Floyd Mayweather Snr was a welterweight during his professional boxing career, and has been an ever present fixture of his son’s backroom team.
Mayweather Snr was noted for his defensive abilities as well as his ring craft during the 70’s and 80’s.
To say he was displeased with McGregor’s comments would be an understatement, with the 64-year-old exploding during the 28-year-old’s press conference.
“Your a** is in trouble, get the f**k out of here.
“What are you talking about.
“Man your a** is too frail and you’re going to find out too.”
When McGregor told Mayweather Snr that he had misadvised his son, and that Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather should have stayed retired, the former welterweight responded:
“What do you think you going to look like when you get….
“He is going to beat the s**t out of you! I can guarantee you that.”
Mayweather Snr then reminded McGregor that he had been knocked out before, unlike his son Floyd, and he could not resist having another jab at the 28-year-old Irishman.
“And your a** been knocked out before to
“How many fights have you lost! How many fights have you lost!
“You’ve lost three fights, you’ve lost three fights and Floyd’s going to beat your a** and you’re going to lose four.”

McGregor, like he has many times before, said that a boxing match is not a real fight unlike MMA where it is pretty much no holes barred, to which Mayweather senior said:
“That man beat all he top fighters in here. And all the same fighters that he beat can beat your ass.”
The fight of the century is starting to heat up, in both camps it seems.
