Torquay boss Paul Buckle hailed his side's "spirit" after they came back from 2-0 down to draw at League Two big-spenders Notts County.
Strikes from Gulls' Mark Ellis and Tim Sills cancelled out first-half goals from Craig Westcarr and Ben Davies. Despite Torquay's stirring comeback, Buckle's men remain in the relegation zone and are without a win in eight games.
Buckle said: "If we keep showing that spirit we will be fine."
He added: "We had to make the long journey up to Nottingham on the day and it was asking a lot of the players to come and perform at a place like this.
"But that's where we are at this moment in time. That's the difference between the two clubs and we just have to get on with it. We've had a good week with draws at Southampton and now Notts County but somehow we have to start turning draws into victories."
