WWE has released their preview for this week's episode of Monday Night RAW on their website, and the way which the show will open has suggested a heel turn could be imminent for a certain fan favorite.

In WWE's preview for this week's RAW, they have stated that Dean Ambrose will open up the show and talk about something which he wants to get off of his chest.

The preview says: "Despite having mutual nemeses in The A-Lister and his "co-stars," a distrustful Ambrose made it clear to The Kingslayer last Monday night that they're far from friends and that he hasn't forgotten or forgiven Rollins for what he did to dismantle The Shield back in 2014.

"What will Ambrose get off his chest when Raw goes live at 8/7 C on USA Network, and how will Rollins — and The Miz — respond?"

So it looks as though Ambrose will be given the spotlight at the start of the show on Monday to talk about the things he wants to get off his chest before he is likely interrupted by The Miz and The Miztourage before Rollins comes in for the save to set up a tag match later on in the night.

Is there more to this than meets the eye though? Could something else potentially happen that hasn't been talked about for a while? Could this potentially be the night that Ambrose does finally become a Lunatic Fringe and turn heel on his former Shield brother?

When Ambrose was moved over from SmackDown to RAW earlier this year, many expected it to be for a Shield reunion with Rollins and Reigns, but that is yet to happen. There have been glimpses of it, but nothing full blown to say The Shield is back together.

The other option as to why The Lunatic Fringe was brought over to the red brand was so that WWE could turn him heel against The Architect for his very own betrayal like Rollins did to him when they were together as part of The Shield.

This certainly would be an interesting new perspective on a feud we have already seen, as the last time they feuded, Ambrose was the face and Rollins was the heel following The Shield's split. They haven't been in the ring together that much since so hopefully this is the direction WWE is going on.

There are loads of ways which WWE could book this. One would be this week on RAW, which would begin a feud that would see them battle each other at SummerSlam that could be extended up until Survivor Series later this year.

Or, perhaps the two could team up in a match at SummerSlam against The Miztourage, only for Ambrose to turn on Rollins in a Lunatic Fringe way and cost them the match. Their feud could then come to a conclusion at Survivor Series after an exchange of victories on RAW pay-per-views.

Hopefully, WWE does bring in a heel Ambrose vs face Rollins feud later this year, and the perfect opportunity for them to lay down the foundations for The Lunatic Fringe's turn could be this week on RAW.
