Arsenal fan gets an Alexandre Lacazette tattoo which looks more like Darren Bent

An Arsenal fan who promised to get a tattoo of Alexandre Lacazette if he signed had no idea quite how much he would regret his decision.

Linked heavily to the Gunners in recent transfer windows, the 26-year-old French goalscorer signed from Lyon earlier this summer in a club record deal worth £52.7m.

Derby County striker Darren Bent was once the Tottenham club record signing after he joined from Charlton in a £16.5m deal.

Things didn’t turn out so well for him in North London but at least he can say that an Arsenal fan has his face tattooed on his backside, even if it was accidental.

Lacazette scored on his debut in pre-season and Gunners are hopeful that he can carry his very impressive goalscoring record in Ligue 1 to England.

An Arsenal fan is going viral on Twitter on Sunday night, having tweeted on June 30th: “If Arsenal sign Lacazette I’ll get a tattoo of his face somewhere on me body”.

He received plenty of coverage when Arsenal’s official Twitter account retweeted it on the day of Lacazette’s signing.

Today he was down at his local tattoo parlour, getting the Frenchman’s face tattooed on his bum.

Unfortunately, it did not all go to plan and the photos of his Lacazette tattoo went viral for all the wrong reasons.

Everyone on Twitter couldn’t help but notice that the poor Gooner had got a tattoo of the ex Spurs striker Darren Bent by mistake.

Bent, 33, made 60 Premier League appearances for Arsenal’s arch rivals and now plies his trade for Championship side Derby County.

The Arsenal fan seemingly took it in good humour, sending a tweet to the former Spurs striker amidst all the p***taking.

In general, Arsenal fans are delighted with the signing of Lacazette and are excited for the season to begin.

However, the future of Alexis Sanchez (and Mesut Ozil) still hangs in the balance with the Chilean forward still yet to sign a new contract.

Arsenal’s season begins with the Community Shield final on August 6th before hosting Leicester City in the opening round of Premier League fixtures on August 11th.
