Blessed with talent in their feet and not their voice, footballers initiations are usually painful to watch.

However, Abraham earned himself a standing ovation following a surprisingly melodic rendition of Boyz II Men's 1991 hit End of the Road.

Posted by Swansea on Twitter this morning, the video perfectly captures the shock on the faces of the Swansea players and staff.

Abraham, competing with Fernando Llorente for a starting berth, will be hopeful of earning more standing ovations when the Premier League season kicks off in August.

Abraham didn't feature in the first of Swansea's pre-season matches in the USA but is expected to make his debut against the Richmond Kickers on Wednesday night.

“I am looking forward to Tammy joining the group,” said Paul Clement before they jetted off to the States.

“He has had a little bit of extra time off because of his under-21 tournament, so we are looking forward to him meeting up with the team and working with him on the training ground.”

Linked heavily with a move to Everton, £50m rated Gylfi Sigurdsson chose not to join his teammates for the pre-season tour.

The Icelandic midfielder is considered a key component of the Welsh Premier League outfit but seemingly has hit heart set on a move to Goodison Park.
