An Arsenal fan on Twitter went viral on Sunday after he visited his local tattoo parlour and got a tattoo of Alexandre Lacazette's face on his bum.The 26-year-old French striker is clearly enjoying his new-found superfans and reached out to the eccentric Gooner on Twitter on Monday afternoon.Unfortunately, the tattoo looks more like former Spurs striker Darren Bent - but that didn't seem to faze the new Arsenal striker. The dedicated fan had unknowingly committed to getting a tattoo of Lacazette on June 30th, tweeting: "If Arsenal sign Lacazette I'll get a tattoo of his face somewhere on me body".Arsenal retweeted it on the day of his club record signing and it appears that peer pressure can be a very powerful thing.Photos of his new tattoo went viral on Sunday night, largely due to the uncanny resemblance to 33-year-old Derby striker Darren Bent.

Lacazette responds on Twitter

Currently in Asia as part of Arsenal's pre-season tour, Lacazette last week scored his opening goal for the club on his debut.

News of the dedicated fan's bizarre antics reached Lacazette today and the former Lyon star reached out in hope of tracking down the young inked up man.

Lacazette offered a way of contacting him and informed the (probably delighted) fan, "I want to meet you & offer you my football jersey".

It turns out doing ridiculously stupid things does sometimes pay off.

Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia continues this week with a blockbuster friendly against Bayern Munich in Shanghai on Wednesday.

Arsene Wenger's men face Chelsea in Beijing three days later before welcoming Benfica and Sevilla in London for the annual Emirates Cup.

He recently signed a two year contract extension and the veteran French manager today overtook Sir Alex Ferguson for 'days in charge at one Premier League club'.

“I’m completely committed to do well for Arsenal Football Club,” said Wenger.

“To do well of course means to win the Premier League. I stayed for so long because for me, first, a club is about values. We built values that are important to me. One of the values is as well to win trophies but more important to know who we are, what is important in the game and, with that basis, to win football games. On top of that we want to bring trophies in.”
