West Ham United confirmed the loan signing of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on Tuesday. The 30-year-old will become the Hammers’ first-choice keeper, taking the place of Adrian, who has made 123 appearances for the London club since arriving from Real Betis back in 2013.The Spaniard has been a consistent performer for West Ham but Slaven Bilic clearly feels that Hart is a better option for his side going forward. This is despite the fact that Hart has struggled for form and consistency over the past 12 months.Deemed surplus to requirements at City by Pep Guardiola in the summer of 2016, Hart spent last season on loan at Torino but often flattered to deceive. His performances for England over the past 18 months, meanwhile, have been underwhelming to say the least and some fans believe he shouldn’t be the Three Lions No. 1 ahead of next summer’s World Cup finals.Hart, though, will feel this is a great opportunity to get his career back on track and prove he deserves to start for England in Russia.

Sullivan hails Hart as 'best goalkeeper I've worked with'

Keeping two top goalkeepers happy isn’t an easy task for any manager, but West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan may have just made the situation worse for Bilic.

West Ham posted a statement from Sullivan, who described Hart as ‘the best goalkeeper I’ve ever worked with’ and, needless to say, Adrian isn’t best pleased.

First of all, here’s what Sullivan said…

“Joe was absolutely fantastic for us at Birmingham City eight years ago,” he’s quoted as saying by West Ham’s website. “He is the best goalkeeper I’ve worked with and I fully expect him to be equally as good for us this coming season.

“I have been working on this transfer for some months and to see Joe wearing a West Ham United shirt is very satisfying. I expect him to be a great player for our Club and can’t wait to see him in a Hammers shirt at London Stadium for the first time.

“Joe has gone from strength to strength since his season at Birmingham, when he was voted Player of the Year, and it would not surprise me at all if he is in the running for the Hammer of the Year award come next May.”

Adrian reacts on Twitter

This led Adrian to tweet: “Thanks for your sincerity! But you still having "two great professionals" respecting, fighting & defending this badgeâš’“

You can’t blame the guy for feeling a bit annoyed.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted to Adrian’s tweet…

It’s going to be an interesting few days at the London Stadium, that’s for sure.
