Let the speculation of this match happening to begin.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is apparently done fighting as a professional MMA (mixed martial arts) fighter.

Although, the former UFC champion has not come out and confirmed that she is done fighting. In fact, she hasn’t talked about MMA at all as of late.

It’s believed that Rousey’s MMA career is over following her devastating loss to current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes at the UFC 207 pay-per-view event that took place last December. Now, the question for wrestling fans is if WWE would be still interested in having Rousey appear on their television shows.

If you recall, at WrestleMania 31, Rousey did a segment with The Rock, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in which she got physical with McMahon. WWE did have plans for Rousey at WrestleMania 32 last year in Dallas, Texas but things didn’t pan out because of Rousey’s hectic schedule.

Stephanie McMahon has already come out and said that she is trying to get Rousey back in WWE.

In the past, McMahon told SF Gate that she would “love to have her at WWE” and added that she has "loosely talked to" Rousey about it.Thus, it’s pretty clear that WWE wants her.

Brooke Hogan, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, recently spoke with TMZ Sports and during the interview, she talked about possibly teaming up with Rousey in WWE.

As seen in the video above, Hogan was with Ariel Toombs, the daughter of Roddy Piper, while they were out at Skybar in L.A. over the weekend when they made their pitch to the UFC icon.

Rousey recently attended the Mae Young Classic TV tapings in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University and was seen hanging out with Triple H. Anything is possible in the land of the WWE. It’s obvious that the company would love to have Rousey appear at an event or even wrestle.

Despite her recent MMA downfall, she is still a name that will draw with people and gather attention with the media. Rousey is a big WWE fan, and if WWE could throw enough money at her, a deal could be made.
