One of the biggest stories of next year's offseason could be the future of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James. For the time being, it looks as though he will stay and give it one more year in Cleveland to try and push for another NBA Championship before potentially testing out free agency as an unrestricted free agent next summer. Two major landing spots for him that have been widely speculated are both in Los Angeles, the Lakers the Clippers, with not many other teams being given a chance despite the fact James would be an unrestricted free agent.Despite this, this hasn't stopped other players and teams from talking about the four-time NBA MVP in an attempt to recruit him for their franchise if he is to leave the Cavaliers in 2018. One of those teams in question is the Philadelphia 76ers.Following a story by NJ.com’s Joe Giglio headlined “NBA rumors: Dots connecting Cavaliers’ LeBron James to Sixers in 2018.”, the team's number one overall pick from last year, Ben Simmons tweeted out: "@KingJames 👀"This has caused quite the stir on Twitter, as Philadelphia fans loved the possibility of King James playing for their team next season.

The only thing we know right now for sure is that James is going to be playing in Cleveland for at least another season. Come 2018 though, he literally could go anywhere for the right money. Staying put can't be ruled out, neither can a jump across the country to Los Angeles. Same goes for a move to Philly.

James and Simmons have already been seen with one another this summer as they’re also both represented by Klutch Sports, so there could already be some sort of connection between the Sixers and the four-time MVP there.

Following drafting Markelle Fultz in this year's draft with the first overall pick, and already having the likes of Simmons and Joel Embiid on the team, Philadelphia has a good chance of being an Eastern Conference playoff representative for the first time in five seasons.

If they do, the addition of James could make the Sixers into a favorite in the conference, and this would certainly be appealing for James as it would provide him with another opportunity to win a championship before calling it a career.
