When experts start to analyze each year's NBA Draft class, they inevitably compare each group to the 2003 draft class, which featured a slew of superstars. In the first five picks, there were four likely Hall-of-Fame players selected, with LeBron James (No. 1), Carmelo Anthony (No. 3), Chris Bosh (No. 4) and Dwyane Wade (No. 5).LeBron, Wade and Bosh have already won two titles together as members of the Miami Heat and Anthony has developed into one of the best pure scorers ever to play in the NBA. Add in the fact that David West, Mo Williams, Kendrick Perkins, Kyle Korver, Josh Howard and more useful players were a part of that class and it's no wonder it has gone down as one of the best drafts in NBA history. However, Wade thinks experts could eventually hold the 2017 class in similar esteem, as he tweeted that he loves the players chosen in the first round this year and thinks this group can be just as special as his 2003 class:

One name obviously left off that list is No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz, who will suit up for the Philadelphia 76ers this fall. However, Wade quickly remedied that oversight:

In order for the 2017 class to hold up its end of the deal, at least four of those top-five picks - Fultz, Lonzo Ball, Jayson Tatum, Josh Jackson and De'Aaron Fox - will have to turn into superstars, but Wade thinks that's entirely possible.

Notably, Wade failed to include his new teammate, No. 7 overall pick Lauri Markkanen, on the list, which is sure to upset the former Arizona Wildcat.

At 35 years of age, Wade isn't the same player he once was while leading the Heat to the 2006, 2012 and 2013 NBA titles, but he's still a valuable asset for the Bulls. However, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, Wade may be used as a sixth man next season, something he said he's open to if the situation is right:

“I’m an open-minded person,’’ Wade said. “I’m always open to a lot of things. That’s never been presented to me. I’ve never had that, but I will never be a person who says, ‘Oh, never.’ I’m always open. If it’s the right situation, you know what, you do what’s best for the team and yourself.’’

The Bulls lost to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs last season and traded superstar forward Jimmy Butler to the Minnesota Timberwolves during the draft in June. If the team gets off to a slow start this fall, Wade could be a trade candidate for teams looking to make a run at a title.
