The NBA offseason has become more exciting in recent years, with big-name players changing teams and blockbuster trades becoming a more common occurrence.

Draymond Green, the 2016-17 NBA Defensive Player of the Year award winner, watched as his Golden State Warriors made the surprising move to sign Kevin Durant last summer, leading to the franchise's second title in three years.

While watching how this offseason has played out so far, Green named the trade that has taken place this summer that has caught him the most off-guard.

Green spoke exclusively to GiveMeSport during a recent trip to Europe and said he was most surprised when the Oklahoma City Thunder made a blockbuster trade for star forward Paul George:

"The most surprising move for me was Paul George to OKC," Green said. "I just, you know, I saw him going to a lot of places, OKC was just one that I didn’t see, and Chris Paul to Houston, I just didn’t expect that at all."

The former Indiana Pacers star was sent to OKC for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis in a deal that shocked many people around the league, so Green wasn't the only one who was caught off-guard by the trade.

Though Green doesn't think anyone can challenge the Warriors next season, OKC general manager Sam Presti said during George's introductory press conference that he thinks PG-13 takes the Thunder to the next level (via USA TODAY):

"He's just a ferocious competitor," Presti said. "His competitiveness, his will and his drive are the things that give him the chance to keep getting better. As talented as he is and as much impact as he has had in the league, when you have this intrinsic drive and intrinsic motivation to compete, that creates a significant upside and puts a launching pad to the talent level itself."

The Warriors still have Durant, Green, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson and also managed to re-sign Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala, among others, this offseason. Therefore, any road to next year's NBA Finals still goes through Golden State, no matter what moves other teams make.

Green was in Europe to check out some of last week's Wimbledon action, watching as American Sam Querrey took down No. 1 seed Andy Murray to advance to the semifinals. Check out a video of Green's experience below:

With two titles in three years, Green is loving life right now. It'll be interesting to see what else he does this summer before the 2017-18 NBA season tips off.
