Monday's episode of RAW got off to a strong start as the RAW General Manager Kurt Angle made his way to the ring.

Pittsburgh native Angle made his return to his home town for the first time since rejoining the company and seemingly came out to advertise what would be coming up on the show.

A shock announcement

Once Angle had finished, he turned to leave the ring when the music of the WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar sounded.

Lesnar hadn't been advertised for the show but he - along side his advocate Paul Heyman both emerged at the top of the show.

When Heyman talks, the WWE Universe listens and that was no different on Monday night when he questioned Angle's decision to make the Summer Slam main event a fatal 4-way match.

Meaning that Lesnar will defend his title against Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe, Lesnar and his advocate were clearly not happy.

Heyman would claim that the reason for the match being made in the first place was so that Angle could take the title away from Lesnar.

Further claiming that it is very unfair that Lesnar should be placed in such a match, Heyman would make the boldest statement of them all.

Claiming that if Lesnar loses at Summer Slam, the Beast Incarnate will leave WWE, Heyman has put the company in an interesting situation.

Adding an extra dimension to the match at Summer Slam, Lesnar's title and now his career is seemingly on the line.

Set to depart?

It is a well known fact that Lesnar's contract in the WWE is coming up and rumours are claiming that he could be set to leave the company.

He has been expected to work through WrestleMania but this new warning could mean that the beast incarnate will be leaving much sooner.

The bigger implication of Heyman's new threat is that it has made the outcome of Summer Slam's main event a lot more unpredictable.

Previously it had just been the title on the line and titles can always change hands, however putting the career of one of WWE's biggest names at stake makes it a lot more interesting.
