Speaking to ESPN on Friday, Top Rank promoter Bob Arum confirmed that 38-year-old Manny Pacquiao does not want to retire, but wants a rematch with Jeff Horn, 29, who took Pacquiao's World Welterweight Title in a bloody and controversial bout last month.

He said: "Manny doesn't want to retire. He wants the rematch, so we are going to do the rematch, but now we are looking for the window that satisfies the Senate.

"We need to see when they have a recess that will allow Manny the time he needs to train and have the fight."

Arum went on to say that the rematch would probably take place in Australia in November, during the Philippine Senate's annual recess.

"Once I have an answer from the Senate [about] when they have their recess, I will go to my partner in Australia, Duco [Events], and we will figure out where we're going to do the fight.

"Queensland has certain rights from hosting the first fight, but we need to figure out where the fight will be. The problem is we can't have it outdoors again because of the weather. November is the summer there, and it's brutal to do it outdoors. We can't do it. Even in July, which is their winter, it was pretty hot outdoors."

Horn was awarded Pacquiao's World Welterweight title by unanimous decision at the Suncorp Stadium in Horn's hometown of Brisbane, Australia.

Pacquiao had nearly knocked out Horn in the 9th, in front of an audience of 51,000, but Horn persevered and Pacquiao couldn't put him away.

Most believed the Filipino, and the strong favorite, had won the fight until the scores were read: two 115-113, and one 117-111, all for Horn.

Many pundits believed that Pacquiao had done enough to retain his World Welterweight title, but following the match, he accepted the decision, saying: "I'm humble, I respect the judges"

Arum added when asked about the rematch: "I think the first fight was an excellent fight. It was competitive and [Horn] feels emboldened, and I think it will be a very good fight again"
