With the Premier League season kicking off on Friday night, clubs should have completed their summer preparation.

Of course, the transfer window is still open for another three weeks, meaning there could be plenty of changes before September.

Some of the title challengers will be happy with the business they've already done.

Machester City have spent over £200 million securing the transfers of Benjamin Mendy, Ederson, Kyle Walker and Bernardo Silva amongst others.

Their rivals Manchester United have already landed Romelu Lukaku from Everton for £75 million and have also signed Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof.

But not every manager is happy with how the summer has gone so far. Antonio Conte may have signed Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko for Chelsea, but he still wants more.

Reports suggest the Italian is in for another midfielder and a new wing-back, to ensure his team can challenge in the Champions League as well as domestically next season.

And rumoured to be top of his defensive shortlist is Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Chelsea's defeat to the Gunners on Sunday highlighted that improvements still need to be made and Conte may go knocking at a rival club's door.

The Englishman has been linked with a move away from the Emirates during the off-season and has entered the final year of his contract.

There's no doubt Arsene Wenger will be keen to keep Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Gunners legend Ian Wright believes there's three reasons he may leave this summer.

"They’ve changed him from position to position," Wright told FourFourTwo, per Goal

"I’ve seen him play central midfield, right-wing-back, left-wing-back, and I know he wants to play in central midfield."

But that's not the only reason the 23-year-old could be on his way out of Arsenal, according to the man who scored 128 league goals for the club.

“He never gets a real run in the team, and when he does he seems to get substituted quite frequently."

Then unfortunately he picks up an injury and it stunts his progress. Sometimes those kinds of things can make you start thinking, ‘Maybe I need to change my environment'."

Wright's comments won't make good reading for Arsenal fans.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been at the club since 2011, but as it appears he's not ready to sign a new contract, he could be gone by September.
