Arsenal got off to the dream start against Leicester City this evening, taking the lead through Alexandre Lacazette in the second minute. The Gunners’ record signing, who completed his big-money move from Lyon earlier this summer, produced a brilliant header from Mohamed Elneny’s cross to put Arsene Wenger’s side ahead. However, just three minutes later and the scores were levelled by Shinji Okazaki, who headed into the back of the net at the near post.It was the perfect response by Leicester, although Wenger will feel the goal could - and indeed, should - have been prevented.First of all, Mesut Ozil could have done better to stop the cross from Marc Albrighton. Secondly, the defending at the back post was poor. And thirdly, Granit Xhaka wasn’t strong enough up against Okazaki. However, there was only one person being blamed for the goal on Twitter, and that was the goalkeeper Petr Cech. The 35-year-old was caught in no man’s land after Albrighton’s deep cross and failed to recover in time.He ended up in the back of the net along with the ball. Many Arsenal fans prior to this evening already felt that Cech is past his best - and tonight seems to have reinforced their views that their team require a better ‘keeper.

'Get out of our club'

Cech has been destroyed on Twitter for costing Arsenal a goal.

Leicester then made it 2-1 on the half-hour mark through Jamie Vardy.
