We’re now just two weeks away before the most lucrative fight in history takes place in Las Vegas.

On August 26, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor go head-to-head at the T-Mobile Arena in what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

On Friday, McGregor took part in an open workout in front of the media, offering journalists and the public an opportunity to see what sort of shape he’s in ahead of the biggest challenge of his life.

The Irishman looked in great shape physically and remains confident ahead of his fight against the unbeaten Mayweather.

However, there was one thing from the media workout which has surprised some boxing fans.

Skip to 1:07:00 in the following video and you’ll notice that McGregor looked rather slow when punching the bags.

'McGregor has no chance'

Some people subsequently believe McGregor has no chance of beating Mayweather…

But was McGregor punching slow on purpose?

Others, however, believe McGregor may have been deliberately punching slowly in order to lure Mayweather and his team into a false sense of security…

Is this a clever tactic by McGregor?

It could indeed be true that McGregor was taking it easy during the media workout.

The 29-year-old, unlike Mayweather, is an unknown quantity when it comes to the technical side of boxing.
