The Premier League is back and Liverpool's season could not have got off to a more predictable start.Jurgen Klopp will have headed to Watford full of hope that a summer of teaching his players how to defend from set pieces would have paid off.The Reds were ultimately held to a 3-3 draw at Vicarage Road after conceding in the 93rd minute. It's going to take more than Virgil van Dijk to sort this mess out. Both the first and third Watford goals came from corners, and Liverpool were all over the place for the Hornets' second strike. At the same time, Klopp also had plenty of positives to take from his 100th game in charge.Despite a Philippe Coutinho-shaped cloud hanging over the start of their season, Liverpool's attack looked potent. There were goals for Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Mohamed Salah. On paper, that's an incredible front line and fans will be hoping this is a sign of things to come.Sadly, the same can't be said of Georginio Wijnaldum. Not only did the Dutchman play a part in Watford's late equaliser, he had already squandered a fine chance to put the game to bed.

On what was to prove a frustrating afternoon, Liverpool supporters were not impressed by such wastefulness:

It's easy to laugh, but the points were dropped by the Reds' failure to learn from last season's mistakes.

Set pieces continue to be their downfall and while Klopp greeted the final whistle with a wry smirk, he will not have been amused that his men have already suffered a setback in their campaign.
