We now know which fighters will be headlining UFC Fight Night 121.
Hard-hitting Mark Hunt’s career just keeps on trucking as he is scheduled to fight fellow heavyweight Marcin Tybura in the main event of the upcoming UFC Fight Night event in the Australian capital city of Sydney.

Polish website Lowking.pl first reported the match. MMA Junkie has since confirmed the bout with the expectation that the promotion announcing the bout next week.
Hunt (13-11-1) is coming off a fourth-round TKO win over Derrick Lewis in June at UFC Fight Night 110 in Auckland, New Zealand. After the fight, Hunt wasn’t sure what was in store for his career and hinted at the possibility of retirement but wasn’t certain. Obviously, the 43-year-old fighter changed his mind as he is stepping back into the world famous Octagon.
On the flip side, Tybura (16-2) is an interesting choice of opponent considering Hunt as he is ranked No. 6 in the official UFC heavyweight rankings while Tybura sits at No.10 in the rankings. Tybura is coming off of a unanimous-decision win over Andre Arlovski in June at UFC Fight Night 111. This marked Arlovski’s fifth straight loss. It marked Tybura’s third straight victory.
“Anybody above me is good,” Hunt said of who he wanted to face next. “I stepped down for Derrick because he was No. 6, but anyone above me, I’ll take. I’ve only got a few more fights left, so for me, if it ended here tonight, so be it. I’ve had a good run. I’ve had a lot of fun, traveled the world. But it looks like it’s still continuing.”
UFC Fight Night 121 is set to take place on November 19th, 2017 at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The event will mark the promotion's fifth visit to Sydney, and first since UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Bisping in November of 2014. Although the event will be held on November 19th in Sidney, the card will air on November 18th in the United States.
The promotion has yet to reveal the broadcasting details for this event but the main card will likely air on FOX Sports 1 while the preliminary card will air on FOX Sports 1 and the UFC’s official streaming service, UFC Fight Pass.
No other bouts have been announced for this upcoming card. As the event draws closer, the promotion will be adding more bouts. It will be interesting to see who will be competing in the co-main event.
